- Wool hood with linen lining based on finds from Skjoldehamn made to order.
Early medieval Viking hood made of beautiful warm wool with pure linen lining.
A lining is an additional layer of insulation. If you are allergic to wool, the linen lining will protect you from it. The hood is perfect during the colder days and winter. It is large, so it will protect your face from wind and cold.
The pattern is based on findings from Skjoldehamn in Norway. It is suitable for Viking reenactors and other reenactors of the Early Middle Ages or cosplay.

FABRIC
The materials are resistant to washing and the quality of the seams ensures that the hood will last you for many years. The hood was made of wool with 100% linen lining in the selected colours.

WASHING & CARE INSTRUCTION
• washing in temperature 20C/30C
• wool clothes can be wash by hand only
• do not use bleach or stain removers
• no spinning (it is damaging for seams and fibres)
• hang in the vertical position to dry
• to keep the look, it’s best to iron clothes inside out, up to 120C (one dot)

Slav Medieval Shop creates this historical outfit in two basic standards of detail work: I – Outfit is sewn with the machine – all stitches are made with the machine, pattern of the outfit is based on the historical sources, according to its description on the site. Internal stitches are finished with overlock, visible stitches are sewn by machine III – Whole outfit is sewn manually with very strong stitches – strongly based on the archaeological findings.
