A women's linen bonnet is a lovely addition to a married woman's outfit.
It is sewn on the basis of a find from the site of Jorvik in England, the Viking settlement center in the British Isles. The original bonnet was made of silk.

The bonnet is made of 100% high-quality linen and the stitches, regardless of the finish, are made with great care.
The material is softened, shrinkage after washing is 2-3%. Linen has an average thickness of 185 g/m2 -245 g/m2

The bonnet is sewn for order. You can choose the colors of the bonnet and embroidery from the menu. These are the colors that we have in our permanent offer.
The actual fabric color may vary due to light and different monitor settings.

WASHING & CARE INSTRUCTION
• washing in temperature 40C - colored clothes; 60C – white or natural colored clothes
• wash in the washing machine using „hand wash” program
• do not use bleach or stain removers
• no fast-spinning (it is damaging for seams and fibers)
• hang in the vertical position to dry
• to keep the look, best ironed clothes with wetting water, inside out, up to 150C (two dots)
STANDARD Slav Medieval Shop creates this bonnet in two basic standards of detail work: I – Outfit is sewn with the machine – all stitches are made with the machine, pattern of the outfit is based on the historical sources, according to its description on the site. Internal stitches are finished with overlock, visible stitches are sewn by machine II– Whole outfit is sewn manually with very strong stitches – strongly based on the archaeological findings.
