Medieval woollen cloak with wide hood & natural fur
- The offer includes the cloak only. Please read the product description for size, material, and other information.
Product information
The woolen cloak was a staple of medieval attire, worn by both the poor and the wealthy. Its cut, size, and finish reflected the social status and wealth of its wearer.
Cloaks served many purposes: they protected against the cold, served as blankets, and, if necessary, also as a bed. Large, roomy models provided effective protection against cold and wind.
A wide hood completely encloses the face and is trimmed with real or faux fur.
The product is machine-sewn, with edges overlocked in our workshop in Otwock, Poland. Each piece is made to order.
Size
- Diameter: 3m.
- The length depends on your preference. If the length exceeds the original width of the material, the sewn-in piece will be visible.
- We recommend a standard length of 130-140 cm. The length is measured at the back, under the hood.
Fabric & color
Wool
- This product is made of high-quality sheep wool, with a minimum 80% pure wool content. It is non-sheer and retains its shape. No lining.
- Due to the high turnover of fabrics among suppliers, we do not have a fixed color palette and work with materials available in stock. Often, these fabrics, for various reasons—from fabric size to material thickness —are unsuitable for specific products but work well with others. This helps us reduce textile waste and fully utilize the fabrics' potential.
- If you are interested in specific colors or shades, please contact us in advance so we can select the right material.
- Colors may vary slightly due to fabric turnover among suppliers, lighting conditions, and screen settings.
Fur
- We don't support fur farms and use second-hand fur.
- Because animals change color throughout their lives, their fur can't be plain onr one-colored. It will be lighter in some areas, darker in others, and a different color in others.
Washing & care instructions
- Do not wash! Do not soak the fur!
- Clean with a dry brush.
Returns & exchanges
- As a handmade workshop, we do not accept returns or exchanges, so please place your orders carefully. Our products are made from hand-cut fabrics, using our own patterns, and with an individual approach to each order. Please respect your time and ours.
- If you have any questions or problems with your order, just let us now!
- We do not accept returns if the product arrives later than expected or is no longer needed. Preparation time is available in the menu, and delivery times depend on the method chosen – we are not responsible for this. For orders with a specific date, please contact us in advance.
