Linen tunic with linen hems

Birka linen shirt with linen hems is the basic item of clothing for the Early Medieval reconstructor. A popular pattern for the whole of Europe, based on iconography and archaeological finds from Scandinavia.
It's fitted to the body, but loose and airy. The tunic has decorative hems on cuffs, neckline and bottom made of 2 other colours of linen. The shirt has a simple cut with triangular gussets on both sides. It is early medieval style - simple corpus and tapered sleeves.

FABRIC
The materials are resistant to washing and the quality of the seams ensures that the tunic will last you for many years.
The tunic was made of 100% pure linen, has a medium weight of 185g/m2. It's pre-washed - so won't shrink, and it's soft and nice to wear.
High quality with Ecotex-100 certificate. Linen is produced in Belarus from local crops.

SIZE AND COLOR
You can customize your tunic and choose the color and size that suits you. Size and color charts are available in the last pictures. All clothes are made in our workshop in Poland.

WASHING & CARE INSTRUCTION
- washing in temperature 40C - colored clothes; 60C – white or natural colored clothes
– wash in the washing machine using the „hand wash” program
- do not use bleach or stain removers
- no fast-spinning (it is damaging for seams and fibers)
- hang in the vertical position to dry
- to keep the look, it’s best to iron clothes with wetting water, inside out, up to 150C (two dots) /p>

Internal stitches are finished with overlock, visible stitches are sewn by machine II – Invisible stitches are made with the machine, all visible stitches are sewn manually.
