A basic type of Scandinavian tunic, based on the finds from Swedish necropolis in Birka and the iconography of early Middle Ages.

It has a body sewn from one piece of material with a hole cut for the head and a half round neckline with a slit that you can fasten with the fibula. Sleeves are sewn at a right angle to the torso, and they narrow towards the wrists.

The tunic has two wedges on the sides, sewn from the waist. Its length is about 95 cm (on request it can be longer 100/105 cm - if added in the notes).

FABRIC

The shirt is made of 100% high-quality linen and the stitches, regardless of the finish, are made with great care. Thanks to this, the shirt will serve you for many years. The material is softened, shrinkage after washing is 2-3%. Linen has an average thickness of 185 g/m2 -245 g/m2

----------------------------------------

SIZE AND COLOR

The shirt is made to order in a color that you can choose from the menu. These are the colors that we have in our permanent offer. Sometimes a color may currently be pending, in which case we will ask you to change your selection or wait longer.

Choose the correct size from the menu based on the measurementes in the table.

If you do not know which size to choose - choose "custom size" and in the comments to the order, include your measurements: Height, bust, waist and hips circumference.

The actual fabric color may vary due to light and different monitor settings.

II – Invisible stitches are made with the machine, all visible stitches are sewn manually.

III – Whole outfit is sewn manually with very strong stitches – strongly based on the archaeological findings.
