Pasbyxor wool baggy pants
- Early medieval Viking baggy trousers/baggy pants - Pasbyxor. Made to order.
This baggy pants are known from runestones in Gotland, also during excavations in the emporium Hedeby they discovered the remains of trousers, which are interpreted as Pasbyxor. Great for Viking reenactors. Based on the sources of the Historical Museum in Stockholm.
Probably the fashion for wide trousers was taken through trade contacts with the East (Arab culture) or contacts with nomads.
The back of the pants is sewn on the basis of a Torsberg pants find. It has a specific cut - two wedges at the back, making the pants very comfortable.
