Product information
This early medieval linen tunic is a perfect base layer for historical reenactments of European men, particularly Scandinavian and Slavic men. It is bvased on T-shaped tunic from Birka, Sweden. Traditionally, additional layers and accessories were worn over it to emphasize social status.
- The authentic early medieval cut gives the tunic a classic, straight line, complemented by two gussets on the sides that beautifully widen the tunic from the waist, giving it a flowing look.
- Historical sleeves provide comfort and freedom of movement thanks to square gussets sewn under the arms, widening the upper part of the dress.
- The neckline, sleeves & hem are adorned with a diamond twill linen trim.
Thanks to its versatility, this shirt is also suitable for LARPs, Renaissance fairs, medieval markets, stylized photo shoots, and weddings.
The product is machine-sewn, with edges overlocked in our workshop in Otwock, Poland. Each piece is made to order.
