Woollen Orkney Hood
- Orkney Wool Hood - interpretation of an Iron Age find from the Orkney Island bog (Scotland).
The Orkney Wool Hood is an interpretation of an Iron Age find from the Orkney Island bog (Scotland). The pattern is suitable for Celtic reenactors and people from the Iron Age and Bronze Age.
The hood is made of wool with a visible pattern and linen lining.
At the bottom of the hood there is a woven ribbon with fringes, 20 cm long, brown in color. The lining provides an additional layer of warming.
The hood is perfect for colder days and winter. It is large, protects the face from wind and cold.

STANDARD Slav Medieval Shop creates this hood in two basic standards of detail work: I – Outfit is sewn with the machine – all stitches are made with the machine, pattern of the outfit is based on the historical sources, according to its description on the site. Internal stitches are finished with overlock, visible stitches are sewn by machine II – Whole outfit is sewn manually with very strong stitches – strongly based on the archaeological findings.
