The Skjoldehamn shirt/tunic made of fine natural-colored wool is one of the most complete finds from the early medieval period.
It has a simple medieval cut of the main part of the tunic and sleeves, has a gusset on both sides (each made of 3 smaller triangles). At the front shirt has a flap that covers the slit. A square is fastened with a bronze button. The stand-up collar is surrounded by a decorative braid.

FABRIC
The materials are resistant to washing and the quality of the seams ensures that the tunic will last you for many years.
The tunic was made of wool thin wool in natural cream color.

WASHING & CARE INSTRUCTION
• washing in temperature 20C/30C
• wool clothes can be wash by hand only
• do not use bleach or stain removers
• no spinning (it is damaging for seams and fibers)
• hang in the vertical position to dry
• to keep the look, it’s best to iron clothes inside out, up to 120C (one dots)

STANDARD Slav Medieval Shop creates historical outfits in three basic standards of detail work: I – Outfit is sewn with the machine – all stitches are made with the machine, pattern of the outfit is based on the historical sources, according to its description on the site. Internal stitches are finished with overlock, visible stitches are sewn by machine II – Invisible stitches are made with the machine, all visible stitches are sewn manually. III – Whole outfit is sewn manually with very strong stitches – strongly based on the archaeological findings.----------------------------------------------------------
